1. Who we are
TalkScrolls (“we”, “the service”) is a text-first discussion community. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these Terms.
2. Your account
You join with a username and an email address — no real name, phone number, or photo is required. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for activity under it. You must be old enough to consent to these Terms in your country (and at least 13).
3. Acceptable use
Be civil. Do not post unlawful, hateful, harassing, or infringing content, spam, or attempt to break, overload, or scrape the service. Moderation is community-driven through reporting; content that is reported enough may be hidden automatically, and accounts may be temporarily or permanently blocked.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of what you post. You grant us a licence to store and display it so the service can function. You are responsible for what you post and confirm you have the right to post it.
5. Premium & payments
The core service is free and is not deliberately crippled; free users only see ads. Optional Premium adds a few extras for supporters. Billing terms (price, renewal, cancellation, refunds) will be set out at checkout when real billing is enabled.
6. Availability & changes
The service is provided “as is”, without warranties, and may change or be unavailable at times. We may update these Terms; continued use after changes means you accept them.
7. Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.
